'Youngest' conjoined sisters separated at Swiss hospital in Bern

Doctors in Switzerland say they have separated eight-day-old conjoined sisters, believed to be the youngest babies to be successfully parted.
The twins, born in December, were fused at the liver and chest.
Swiss media say doctors had originally planned to separate them when they were several months old but brought the operation forward when they each suffered a life-threatening condition.
The operation reportedly carried a 1% chance of success.
The twins, named Lydia and Maya, were born eight weeks premature at the Inselspital hospital in Bern, along with a triplet who was fully separate and healthy.

The hospital said the twins were "extensively conjoined on the liver, but had all vital organs".
They weighed just 2.2kg (4lb 14oz) together. One of the twins had too much blood, and very high blood pressure, while the other one did not have enough.
A 13-strong medical team took five hours to separate the girls on 10 December.
"Such small conjoined siblings had never been successfully separated before," the hospital said.

This story is from BBC News caught my eye by reading the headline, in a personal way as me and my sister always use the joke 'if both of us cant go then we will pretended we are conjoined twins', however when I started reading it, it was very touching and influential. The article is from BBC news which is traditionally a left wing news source meaning that its bound to be thruthful.

McDonald's sales rise after US launch of all-day breakfast

McDonald's sales were better than expected in the fourth quarter, helped by the launch of all-day breakfasts in the US.
Global same-restaurant sales at the fast food giant grew 5%.
McDonald's extended US breakfasts beyond 10:30am in October, saying it was customers' number one request.
The company, working to turnaround its business under chief executive Steve Easterbrook, said the breakfast change helped US sales grow 5.7%.
Fourth-quarter revenue fell 4% to $6.4bn (£4.5bn) due to the strong dollar, but profits rose 10% to $1.2bn, McDonald's said.

'Urgent action'

Mr Easterbrook, who was appointed a year ago, said: "We took bold, urgent action in 2015 to reset the business and position McDonald's to deliver sustained profitable growth."
The company said sales in its "high growth" markets, which include Russia and China, rose 3%.
In the UK, which does not have an all-day breakfast, sales rose as the company served 3.7 million customers a day.
McDonald's said it would continue to introduce table service in its UK stores, including in refurbished restaurants from next month.
This story's headline is what grabbed my attention, due to the fact that i am never awake in time for Mc Donald's breakfast. The article makes you want to read more as most people have been to mc Donald's and know how good the breakfast is and if they can make it all day in america surely they can in the UK.  The article lacks detail and specific information however BBC News is very factual and correct, it should include more pictures and colour to make it more eye catching and add some more information into the article itself.

Analysis of Headhunters

The 2011 Norwegian-swedish action thriller 'Headhunters' directed by Morten Tyldum, based on the 2008 Novel by Jo Nesbø is about a famous headhunter in Norway called Roger Brown (Askel Hennie) who is also a secret art thief with his friend Ove Kjikerud (Elvind Sander). The secret business the pair have going is what maintains and supports Rogers lavish lifestyle for him and his glamorous wife Diana Brown (Synnøve Macody Lund)When Diana opens her very own art gallery Roger is introduced to a man called Clas Greve (Nikolj Coster-Waldau) who claims to own a very expensive painting left by his grandmother, little did Roger know that it was all a trap and Clas knew what he was up to. Roger saw the attraction between Clas and his wife as his only threat as Roger was really self consious and despised his height and realised he had competition when he found Dianas phone by Clas's bed when of course Rodger set off to get the painting described by the pair, not realising it was completely worthless, and not realising the destruction he had now caused upon himself and the greater threat Clas now was excluding the affair between him and rogers wife. Clas was trained in tracking people and began to hunt Roger like a fox entailing a journey of death and fear.

The film is very graphic and shows love, portrayal, greed and dark humour. It has many plot twists which is good as you do not expect what happens next and are kept intrigued of what is in store for Roger and anyone that comes close to him. Although this film has subtitles it is very easy to understand what is going on which is usually hard for me which made my enjoyment of the film surprising, however it was a very good film as you get to understand the characters and their lifestyles in detail which makes you feel personal empathy for them. However if the film was in english you would be able to see more of the shots and backgrounds as most the time you had to focus on reading what was going on. Overall the film was very good and i would watch it again as it created suspense, excitement and fear.
